Why "Common Place Blog"?

A common place book is a place to comply knowledge. Thomas Jefferson, our 3rd president, was a scholar and inventor. Many people helped Jefferson on the path to wisdom, but he had a mentor named George Wythe, that also taught many other brilliant men. In order for all those he mentored to learn from each other, he had a common place book. They all wrote in it to let one another know the things they are studying and learning. Now, in the 21st century, we are borrowing the idea-but not in book form. This is our Common Place Blog.
